About the Conference
Shaping Botswana's Tourism Future
Now in its 42nd year, the HATAB Annual Conference returns to Maun — the gateway to the Okavango Delta — for a landmark gathering focused on Re-defining Tourism Strategies to Reshape the Botswana Tourism Landscape.
From keynote addresses and panel discussions to the prestigious Networking Session & Awards, the conference provides an unrivalled platform for policy dialogue, industry collaboration, and sector-wide strategic alignment.
Delegates include CEOs, government ministers, lodge owners, financiers, tour operators, conservation bodies, and international development partners — making this Botswana's most influential annual tourism event.
"The Annual Conference remains Botswana's premier hospitality and tourism engagement platform, bringing together policy makers, captains of industry, financial institutions, development partners, and sector leaders to deliberate on strategic priorities, economic resilience, and the future positioning of tourism as a key contributor to national development." — Lily Rakorong, Chief Executive Officer, HATAB
